SUN., OCT. 8, 2017 - GILMER TO DALLAS  - This trip began as many previous ones have with our loading the car and traveling from home to Dallas, TX for a flight. As planned, we first stopped off in Plano, TX for lunch and a visit with our friends, Larry & Wanda Bedford.  

By late afternoon we drove across the city to our reserved hotel in the area of Dallas-Ft. Worth airport where we would spend the night and leave the car parked for the duration of this trip.
